Pastor Bill provides for the church in the area of pastoral care. He is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. Having served in the local congregation as a pastor and in retail sales as a Christian book store manager, he has been in healthcare ministry for the last 12 years as a hospice chaplain. Currently, he is employed as a chaplain at Ascension St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Pastor Bill has been married to his wife, Joy, for almost 45 years. Next to accepting Jesus as his Savior, it was the best decision he has ever made. Bill and Joy have two adult children, along with seven grandchildren who are loved (and spoiled by Grampy). Some people say he is a big tease who likes a good joke. (He just can’t imagine where they got that idea from, LOL!)
Perhaps Pastor Bill’s favorite Scripture passage is Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” He is grateful for the peace that comes in all of life’s experiences through knowing that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior.
