Giving
We believe that Giving is an act of Worship – just like singing, praying, reading Scripture and serving. We give, not in an effort to win the favor of God, but in grateful response to the depth of God’s love and grace. We give to God the first fruits. This reminds us that God is the supplier of all we have and it teaches us to put God fruit in our lives.
Who We Are
Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene is dedicated to loving and serving our community by living out God's story. We believe that all people are created in God's image, but through seeking our own way, we have distanced ourselves from His design. Despite this, God continues to love us, sending His Son, Jesus, to restore us through His sacrificial death and resurrection, offering forgiveness, grace, and a promise of eternal life. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives, enabling believers to live free from sin and death. Our Church is committed to being God's agents of love and transformation in the world, spreading the message of Jesus' restoration and encouraging people to be His hands and feet in our community and beyond. We invite everyone to experience and join in this mission with us.
